Bunting Competition
25th May 2012
The Octagon has kitted itself out in bunting for the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympics and to celebrate, they are inviting shoppers to take part in a fantastic competition.
To commemorate this memorable year, The Octagon Shopping Centre is inviting shoppers to have a guess as to how long their total bunting actually is. For the chance to win a collection of Jubilee and Olympic memorabilia, shoppers simply have to fill out an entry form and drop it into the post-box opposite TK Maxx. Entry forms can be picked up from any store at The Octagon as well as from the information racks throughout the centre. The closing date for entries is 30th June, the day that the Olympic torch passes through the town.
Peter Hardingham, DTZ Centre Manager of The Octagon Shopping Centre, said: “I’m really pleased with how the decorations look. This is a massive year for our country with two momentous events happening during 2012 and I wanted to make sure that the centre reflected this by becoming a part of the celebrations. The competition is a way of getting our shoppers involved and I’m sure the lucky winner will be delighted with the celebratory items.”
